Our 4 day AM and 4 day PM preschool classes are for children 3 to 5 years of age. Classes meet Mondays through Thursdays, September through May. Applicants for the upcoming school year must be 3 years of age by Sept 1 of the year they begin school. We also have a forest kindergarten for older 4's and 5's. This program is 5 hours per day every day M-TH and 3 hours on Fridays. Children benefit from exploring the natural surroundings of the 40-acre sanctuary, which offer endless opportunities for investigation and discovery. The children's education is enriched by programs led by Director Stephanie Bozzo, Classroom Teachers Ryan Frye, Amelia McLaughlin, Shannon Earle, Chelsea Hawk, Ruth Polk, Kristin Roberts and ANS staff naturalists.

This program is a hidden gem in the DC area! If you are looking for a place where your child can truly be their self, fully enjoying all the special things childhood has to offer, please visit and consider ANP.
