Neurological research shows that the early years play a key role in childrens brain development and childrens early learning experiences deeply affect their future physical, cognitive, emotional and social development. We also believe in bilingualism! Studies in language development show that when young children have exposure to foreign languages at an early age, they will have an academic advantage throughout life. Bilingual children are able to focus more intently on topics without being distracted and are able to demonstrate higher levels of cognitive flexibility, or the ability to change responses based on environment and circumstances. By implementing our Hebrew-English bilingual curriculum, students stand to benefit long-term, both academically and in life. In addition to providing a Hebrew/English bilingual immersion language program, we believe that early childhood is a great time to expose children to Jewish education. The results can last a lifetime. Preschool is the best time to make Jewish rituals familiar and enjoyable to children by singing Jewish songs, talking about holidays and Jewish values. The ritual objects that toddlers bring home with them often help start new family traditions and create long-lasting childhood impressions.
