Lake Shore School is a year-round center in Chicago, IL. Lake Shore Schools’ mission is to provide high-quality child care and education for children from birth to fourteen years of age. We promote a hands-on, educational approach to learning in a creative and challenging environment. Teachers create an environment focused on building positive relationships, where instructional practices are tailored to meet individual student needs, and all children are made to feel comfortable in the classroom and are ready to acquire skills essential for school success. We are open from 6:45am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 2 months through 5 years old, including children with special needs. We offer full time care, before and after school care for children up to 5 years old, as well as summer camp. We provide meals and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment.
