At Ana's House Daycare we strive to provide an environment for young children that will support their optimal development. Ana's House consistently seeks to:
Provide a welcome environment that invites children of all ages and abilities to explore and learn.
Foster an atmosphere of safety and peace through the use of clear, consistent rules.
Nurture the social, emotional, and cognitive developmental needs of each child.
Provide children of all abilities with the tools necessary for him or her to reach full potential.
Build a sense of community through family involvement that supports our culturally diverse, all-inclusive program.
Maintain an open line of communication with the families in our program is our belief that only through good parent/provider interaction that quality nurturing care can be achieved.
Ana's House Daycare complies with all applicable licensing regulations and Maryland EXCELS* standards. These standards relate to our home, staff, health, safety procedures, nutrition, caregiver to child ratios, and record keeping. We believe that these standards are in the best interest of the children. Our home is subject to inspection by state and city health, fire, and licensing officials.
* Maryland EXCELS is a voluntary Tiered Quality Rating and Improvement System that recognizes the accomplishments of early childhood and "school-age only" programs and providers through a set of standards with 5 levels that offer a pathway to high-quality.
Ana's House Daycare has been granted a Level-4 Accreditation by the State of Md. The Maryland Child Care Credential Program is a voluntary program that recognizes child care providers who go beyond the requirements of State licensing.
We are members of Maryland State Child Care Association (MSCCA), Family Child Care Association of Montgomery County (FCCMAC), and The National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) and we are presently in the process of achieving the NAFCC National Accreditation.
