Welcome to Akter Daycare, my home-based daycare and preschool in Lanham MD! I love kids! Before opening my own daycare, I used to take care of my friends' and relatives’ children. As a mother of 3 myself, I can relate to your concerns when it comes to finding a safe and loving “second home” for your little one. At my daycare, you can be sure that your little one is secure and will be filled with joy and happiness! My family child care and preschool program is open year round from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I offer full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers and preschoolers between the ages of 4 weeks and 5 years old. I also offer before and after school care for older kids, up to 6 years old. Our infant has been going to this childcare provider for six weeks now and we are very happy with how she is doing there. It is comforting to have our child in such a safe and loving environment while we are at work. It is clear that this provider cares deeply about every child in her care.
