Our center is approved as a non-public educational program. We exceed Maryland State Department of Education’s requirements for facilitating growth in all domains of early childhood development. Play-based learning has been found to be one of the most effective ways to help children develop new skills and competency. One of the greatest benefits of playing is to assist with the development of social competence. Children can build relationships, learn to resolve conflicts, and negotiate and regulate their behaviors. In play, children usually have increased feelings of success, optimism, and independence as they problem solve and make their own choices. Play helps to develop curiosity, openness, optimism, resilience, concentration, and creativity. All of these characteristics greatly contribute to a child's ability to learn.
