Laila's Childcare Services has been awarded a Certificate of Quality by Virginia Quality, the state's quality rating and improvement system.
As a dedicated childcare provider and former educator, I deeply understand the critical significance of the first five years in a child's development. At Laila's Childcare Services, our in-home childcare program offers a nurturing, loving, and enriching environment. Your child will engage in meaningful experiences alongside no more than four peers, all within the age range of 0 to 5 years. My mission is to ensure that every child who leaves Laila's Childcare Services is fully prepared for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten.
With nearly three decades of teaching experience, half of which has been devoted to childcare, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my role. Before founding Laila's Childcare Services, I worked at various childcare centers in New Castle, Delaware, and served as a substitute teacher in Head Start and kindergarten programs within Fairfax County Public Schools. My background also includes working as a bilingual paraprofessional in New York City Public Schools and as a bilingual special education paraprofessional with the Board of Cooperative Educational Services in Long Island, New York.
I hold a Master of Arts in Urdu, a Bachelor of Education, and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition following rigorous assessment. Additionally, I am trained in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration Training (MAT).
Laila's Childcare Services is conveniently located near exit 3B off Route 395, close to Little River Turnpike and Beauregard Street in Alexandria, Virginia, just a short distance from Washington, D.C.
